
The Flying Ship Core is a scpecial, indestructible Object found on Flying Ships that allows you to upgrade your Flying Ships overall performance parameters.
You can improve three key attributes separately:
- the maximum speed your Ship can reach
- the maximum altitude it can ascend to
- and the Ship’s building boundary
Upgrading these parameters only increases your Ship potential – to actually reach higer speeds or altitudes, you still need to build and power the appropriate machanisms, such as Engines and Balloons.
To upgrade a parameter, open the Flying Ship Core interface, select the desired upgrade, and if you have the required materials, press “Upgrade”.
Flying Ship Core emit a straight white beacon of light into the sky, marking the Ship location.
To properly construct a Flying Ship beyond your floating Island with its Flying Ship Core, you need create specific devices to control the Ship: Cockpit, Engine, Balloon and Energy Core.
The recipes for these components can be unlocked by interacting with Mechanisms found in shipwrecks on larger islands.
Crafting these devices also requires unique materials that drop when you destroy the Ship’s remains.
Exploring shipwrecks is essential to gather both the knowledge and Resources needed to build our own functional Flying Ship.
To make our ship fly, we need a few things:
- Island Core
- Cockpit
- Energy Generator
- Wooden Engine
- Wooden Balloon
- Wooden Pipe
All these items except the cockpit must be connected to each other by pipes.
The simplest blueprint looks like this:

The generator can only power 3 items (for example 1 balloon and 2 engines)

To power devices on a Flying Ship, you need Energy, which is produced using Generators.
To generate Energy, interact with a Generator, place a suitable Fuel source (wood, coal, etc.) into the Fuel Slot, and press “Start”.
The inserted Fuel will be consumed, producting Energy for a set duration.
However, once the Generator is activated, Energy starts depleting immediately, regardless of whether any devices are connected.
To stop Energy consumption, press “Stop” at any time.
Each Generator produces a fixed amount of Energy using Fuel.
More advanced Generators can use higer-efficiency Fuels to produce more Energy or for longer periods.
