The Starter Compass is one of the Special Tools and always shows the direction yo your Home Point.
Using the compass (T), we can teleport to our ship, scan the island area and check where various objects are located or highlight all life forms within range.
To unlock additional features in the compass, we need to add Engineer skill points.
You can also use the spyglass (R – radial menu).
The Spyglass is a Special Tool that helps you discover interesting properties od nearby islands.
While aiming at an Island its distance will be displayed at the top of the lens, along with an indicator showing whether the Island has already been visited.
If the Island contains a Dungeon, a glowing Dungeon icon will appear on the tight side of the screen.
